This iconic set showcases the raw, explosive energy of a then-19-year-old John Frusciante and drummer Chad Smith during their first international trek with the band.

Highlights include explosive run throughs of staples like Knock Me Down, Stone Cold Bush, Subway to Venus, Hollywood (Africa) and Magic Johnson.

Taken from the Chili Peppers’ first tour of Japan, this performance captures the band during a period of transition, as their international popularity was beginning to surge, but before they exploded into global superstardom with the release of fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
